WHAT IT MEANS: Headdesk is the extreme facepalm. When someone says or does something monumentally idiotic, you hit your head on the desk to convey your utter loss of faith in humanity. As you flail for hope, take solace in the knowledge that at least you can express your feelings in one succinct word.

 

HEADDESK THEATRE COMPANY is the innovation of three international MA Advanced Theatre Practice students. Having met at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, we aim to create new work that will entertain, enthrall, and thoroughly bowl over audiences. Our collective interest in comedy was the driving force behind the company's inception.

Currently based in London, the company was formed in May 2016. We are excited to make compelling new theatre for a wide range of audiences. We want to make sene of our generation's utterly perplexing role in the grand scheme of things and to find our place in the post-ironic age.
